Ben Zupo Wins an Emmy
November 6th, 2008 by Tessa SibbetWe want to congratulate All-Outdoors filmmaker Ben Zupo and local producer, Todd Stanley for winning an Emmy for the hit TV show, The Deadliest Catch! (They won the Emmy in September, so although it’s not “breaking news,” we are excited for them nonetheless).
As many of you know, All-Outdoors recently launched eight new rafting videos that were filmed, edited, and produced by a local filmmaker and kayaker, Ben Zupo. When Ben started working on the project with AO, he had a nice resume of video projects he’d worked on and he had just lined up a job working with Stanley’s Boil Line Productions. Some smaller gigs with Boil Line gave him more experience working on TV shows, and it didn’t take long for Ben to land a bigger, better, and more frightening gig as a cameraman on the hit TV show, The Deadliest Catch. Now, almost two years after we started working with Ben, he’s an Emmy winner.
