This is a rafting video from the Middle Fork American 2-Day Trip on July 21-22, 2007. The video is a great example of how much fun a 2-day bachelor party rafting trip can be. They were able to get an adrenaline fix on the Class IV rapids during the day (Tunnel Chute was the overall favorite), navigate the Class II rapids on their own in the inflatable kayak, and enjoy a fun evening in camp complete with a campfire and late-night s’mores.

The 2007 All-Outdoors Professional River Guide School is quickly approaching and it is gearing up to be an oustanding week. It will be held on the Class III South Fork of the American River during two weekends from April 26 – 29 and May 4 – 6. Throughout the guide school, training guides (aka “students”) will enjoy plenty of whitewater excitement, river education, and learning the necessary skills to become a professional river guide, such as reading whitewater, river safety, river cooking, and ultimately, how to guide a paddle boat through Class III whitewater. The guide school will be taught by our expert instructors who have years of river guiding experience. Here is a video of the All-Outdoors 2005 guide school.

We took a few days off work and headed up to the Illinois River in Southern Oregon for a fun private trip. It was snowing at put-in, but the skies cleared and we had beautiful, sunny weather the second and third day of the trip. The canyon was lush and green, the mountains in the distance were covered in snow, the rapids were exciting, and we had an amazing time rafting on a new river. Here is a video and some photos from our trip.
