All-Outdoors River Guide School

April 20th, 2007 by Tessa Sibbet

The 2007 All-Outdoors Professional River Guide School is quickly approaching and it is gearing up to be an oustanding week. It will be held on the Class III South Fork of the American River during two weekends from April 26 - 29 and May 4 - 6. Throughout the guide school, training guides (aka “students”) will enjoy plenty of whitewater excitement, river education, and learning the necessary skills to become a professional river guide, such as reading whitewater, river safety, river cooking, and ultimately, how to guide a paddle boat through Class III whitewater. The guide school will be taught by our expert instructors who have years of river guiding experience. Here is a video of the All-Outdoors 2005 guide school.

All-Outdoors Guides Raft the Illinois River in Oregon

April 10th, 2007 by aorafting

We took a few days off work and headed up to the Illinois River in Southern Oregon for a fun private trip. It was snowing at put-in, but the skies cleared and we had beautiful, sunny weather the second and third day of the trip. The canyon was lush and green, the mountains in the distance were covered in snow, the rapids were exciting, and we had an amazing time rafting on a new river. Here is a video and some photos from our trip.

December 22nd, 2006 by Sammy Russo

Cherry Creek is rated Class V+ and is considered one of the most difficult whitewater rafting rivers in the counrty. This river is definitely not for the faint-at-heart or the first time rafter. But now all that is changed with the help of the internet.
