Don’t forget American River Music Festival this Weekend!

September 16th, 2008 by Malina

If you’ve been putting off buying your tickets for this weekend’s American River Music Festival stop procrastinating and do it!  The Folk, Americana, and Blues festival kicks off in just three days, starting with a rafting trip with All-Outdoors on the South Fork of the American river.  Rafters will get serenaded on the river bank by Joe Craven’s wide-ranging and creative musical mish-mash.  Then, the two-day musical extravaganza runs all day on Saturday and Sunday at Henningson-Lotus Park, located right on the banks of the South Fork.  Campers will be treated to extra musical performances at night so the valley will be ringing with music up one side and down the other.  For a complete line-up of the festival’s muscians and for information about buying tickets, go to the American River Music Festival Website.
