I think we also need to support flood control alternatives for Sacramento such as levee enhancements along rivers in populated areas - Prop 1E on the November ballot. In addition we need to upgrade Folsom Dam to make it a more effective flood control structure. Preserving our whitewater rivers is an ongoing battle.
