Save the Date: Trailfest 2012 is June 13th

February 21st, 2012 by Malina

Nothing like the short and nippy days of February to make you reeeeeeeeeeally need something fun to look forward to.  Obviously (hello) you’re already rafting with us this summer, but come up to our neck of the woods in early June and get a behind the scenes look at how rafters really party.  Uh, I mean how rafters come together to raise money and love for a great cause: the American River Trail!  This trail is used by locals and tourists alike to explore the American River Canyon from the Lotus-Coloma Valley all the way to Salmon Falls.  Trailfest is a key fundraiser for the American River Conservancy, which spear-headed this and many other awesome conservation and public use projects in our area.  We’ll give you details as the event gets closer, but just to wet your whistle: a ticket gets you live music, tasty food, local libations and what is usually an epic dance party on the banks of the South Fork American River.
