Summer Flow Update: American River Rafting

August 17th, 2008 by Malina

Here we are, August winding down into September, and my my my, where has the season gone?  Somehow after all these trips and so much sunshine, I still done forgot to get me a tan.  If you forgot too, there’s still time to wow your co-workers with a fresh summer glow aquired on an American river whitewater trip

While the Tuolumne and Cherry Creek season is fast coming to a triumphant close, the South and Middle Forks of the American–true whitewater workhorses if ever there was one–are still going strong.  You can book a quick one day trip or plan a relaxing multi-day getaway into October of this year.  Temperatures will be hot in both canyons throughout September but the summer crowds will be gone–perfect!
