Wrap... A boat held against a rock or other object by the force of the current.
The internet never lies!!!

Ahhh! The adventures the Smith River hands out. It's been a few years since I was up there and the water was really high, about 14 feet. I've only heard what it's like at low water and I'm told it's not very simple, so congrats to Sudds for getting the boat off the rock that she did not wrap her boat on. For those who need technical answers, I consulted the American Heritage Dictionary, (since I don't find it feasible to go by guides alone.) A wrap used in verb tense: To coil or twist about or around something. Obviously this raft wasn't twisted about the rock otherwise lines attached from shore would surely have been needed.

Good job Sudds, an adventure well done!

By the power vested in me by the great state of California, I here by deem this situation an aggressive perch.

Your friend Sudds is exactly right... no ropes or flip lines were attactched to the raft in aiding it's removal from the rock therefore it shall be deemed an aggressive perch.

Some might even go as far as saying that a flip line may be used in recovery and still be considered an agressive perch, just as long there were no ropes attached from shore.
