2015 Summer River Rafting Season Update for California

July 3rd, 2015 Malina

California river rafting update map

The 2015 whitewater rafting season is underway in California! (Yes, you read that correctly: you just might be shocked to learn that California rivers have enough water for rafting trips into October!)

Even during the drought, water stored in upstream reservoirs gets released on a schedule to generate hydropower, provide water for drinking and irrigation–and gives the tax paying public the bonus of reliable flows for recreational whitewater boating! To learn more, read our post When in Drought, There’s Still Water For Rafting!

Of course we’re also happy to answer any questions you might have, so don’t be shy. Just call, email or use Live Chat! Or, if you already have a trip in mind, you can  Check for Available Space to see if we have the trip you’re thinking about. Every river has a different schedule, so be sure to check with our California river specialists to make sure the river trip and dates you desire are available.
