Fun in the Foothills: Endless Wine Tasting in April
Posted April 9, 2012 by MalinaHire a DD folks, it’s time for Passport weekend. That means a weekend of serious wine tasting from one corner of El Dorado county to the next. Barbera, Mourvedre, Syrah, Viognier, trusty Chard, Cab, and Merlot, and a million wines named after the American River, someone’s rooster, truck, or maybe even a cowboy or two. If you have the stomach to try them all, you’re stouter than I–and you will definitely need a sober driver. But if you’ve rafted in El Dorado County, and wanted to see what we have outside our beautiful river canyons, this is a great way to do it. Of course, will you remember what you saw? Good question. Well who cares! Come back in June for a rafting trip and we can fill you in on the details. (Don’t forget, book by April 30th, raft by June 30th, and save 20% with our Spring Sale! Just ask for it when you call.)
