Wild and Scenic Film Festival this Weekend
Posted January 11, 2011 by MalinaIn the madness of the holidays you probably forgot that the annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival is coming up! The Nevada City event is the largest environmental film festival in America and plays films meant to both educate and inspire. One of the films is of particular interest to rafters–Saving a River tells the tale of our very own local conservancy group the American River Conservancy. This group has preserved thousands of acres along our beloved South Fork American River–which I know many many of you have rafted a time or two!
The festival is held Nevada City and runs this weekened, January 14-16 2011. Learn more and buy tickets at http://www.wildandscenicfilmfestival.org/.
