Last day of Whitewater Guide School . . .

The inflatable lobster is out of storage and you know what that means–it’s the last day of our beginning Whitewater Guide School.  Full dossiers aren’t in yet, but we in the office have heard pretty dang good reports about this year’s class of All-Outdoors professional guide hopefuls!  They’ve braved high adventure on the Middle Fork and South Forks of the American Rivers for the past week, tying knots, blowing up boats, and learning to read water, cook over propane, make cowboy coffee and generally having a grand ol’ time.  After the fond farewell tonight we look forward to seeing this year’s graduates back for more training trips–and hopefully the bestowal of official AO guidedom later in the season!
