Planning Ahead For Your Next River Trip: When Will The Rafting Season Begin?

Posted April 14, 2020 by Laura Armstrong

To our extended river family,

We hope you are doing well during this challenging time. It is inspiring to see so many people taking the necessary steps to avoid spreading the COVID-19 virus. To each of you working in the healthcare field or at an essential community job, we want you to know that you are our heroes.

Usually, by this time of year, we are already back on the river. The rafting season is when we reunite with all our favorite people to do what we love. Right now we are really missing the familiar faces of our staff and the energizing smiles of our guests. You all mean the world to us, and we can’t wait to get the family back together again. We don’t know when that will be, but as soon as it is appropriate, we will be ready to go rafting.

In the meantime, if you want to plan your rafting getaway, we are taking reservations for the 2020 season. To give peace of mind and added flexibility to those who have already booked and those looking to book, we have updated our cancellation policy for all 2020 reservations.

We love spending time outdoors, and we think it’s essential to health. Although we cannot go rafting together right now, we hope you are finding some consolation in the fresh air and sunshine, whether in your backyard or outdoors while walking, hiking or riding your bicycle. And, if it helps — and we have found it does — you can daydream about your next outdoor adventure.

We hope to see you all soon! Please call if you have any questions or thoughts you would like to share, we are ready to listen and help.

Take care,

The Armstrongs
