Go Rafting This Fall: Great Whitewater Flows in California Through October!September 6th, 2016 Jamie Low
While the first day of fall isn’t officially until September 22nd, we are busy helping our guests get a jump on planning for the fall rafting season! Whether you’re taking the kids on one last family outing before the winter season begins, or joining us with your co-workers or classmates, the fall season is a great time to spend a day on the water in California: not only can the weather in the Sierra foothills be very pleasant, but we have great flows thanks to water releases from upstream reservoirs. And as a bonus, the river tends to be less crowded after the summer crowds dissipate, leaving the rest of us with the river to ourselves.
